BARRON'S NAMES CARRIE COGHILL KUNTZ TOP 100 FEMALE FINANCIAL ADVISORS FOR 6TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
June, 2009
Carrie Coghill Kuntz, President of D.B. Root & Company, a leading independent, fee-based family wealth managment firm, has been recognized by Barron's as #90 on the top 100 list of America's leading female financial advisors from brokerages and banks. Ms. Coghill Kuntz is the only Pittsburgh-based advisor on the list.
According to Barron's, the advisors follow the industry's best practices and have some of the biggest books of business. The scoring system assigns a value of "10" to the top advisor, and then calculates the others scores by comparing each with the top awardee in terms of assets under management, revenue, customer satisfaction and other factors. Total assets are those of the advisor's team; they include both those at the firm and those held elsewhere but overseen by the team. Institutional assets are given less weight in the scoring.
Ms. Coghill Kuntz commented, "It's an honor to be recognized once again by Barron's among this outstanding group of advisors. I am humbled. Most of all, I thank our clients, whose open communication has helped lead and challenge us to find creative solutions to meet their financial needs."
First cited by Barron's in 2004, this is Ms. Coghill Kuntz's sixth consecutive year as one of the country's top female advisors.
