Client Service Associate (Full-Time)

About the Position:

 

DBR & CO is looking for a qualified Client Service Associate to join its rapidly growing retirement plan consulting business in Pittsburgh. The candidate will be responsible for numerous client facing tasks such as service, support and administration as well as play a pivotal role in the growth of the practice. 

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Proactively support client service and client administration

  • Compile and review quarterly reports for presentation to retirement plan committee

  • Document and update the Investment Policy Statement, investment models, and due diligence substantiation

  • Manage the execution of various services such as plan cost assessments, performance benchmarking and request-for-proposals

  • Coordinate among clients and service providers to ensure the timely completion of various client deliverables

  • Assist with the creation & distribution of marketing materials

  • Actively manage new business development opportunities and new client onboarding

 

Skills & Abilities:
 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to use and learn various software packages (Salesforce, Envestnet)

  • Adaptability and flexibility to organize and prioritize numerous time-sensitive items

  • Experience working in, and the desire to work within, a collaborative team environment

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and excellent interpersonal skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-3 years of client-service experience

  • Prior experience working directly with retirement plans, retirement plan consulting, or within financial services is encouraged, though not required
