Amber Walker

Senior Retirement Plan Analyst

At DBR, Amber supports fiduciary retirement plan clients by developing and executing participant education and communication strategies designed to improve engagement and retirement readiness. She leads onsite and virtual education meetings, creates participant and plan sponsor communications, and develops educational content tailored to client needs. Amber also collaborates closely with advisors on retirement plan consulting initiatives, including share class reviews, fiduciary support projects, and the creation of customized materials for plan sponsors and participants. She has been passionate about helping individuals make informed financial decisions through effective education and communication.

Prior to joining DBR, Amber spent nearly 18 years with PNC Asset Management Group, serving as an Employee Education Consultant and most recently, a Product Manager. In her roles, she developed engaging educational content and communication strategies for retirement plan participants and plan sponsors. Amber's industry insights have been published by the CFA Institute. Before her tenure at PNC, Amber worked at Federated Investors, where she obtained her FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.

Outside of the office, Amber enjoys cooking, reading and traveling with her husband, Matt and son, Caleb.

Education

Amber holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University. She also has received the Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certificate awarded by the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).
