Steven J. Kaczynski Jr., CFA, MST Joins DBR & CO as a Senior Financial Advisor

DBR & CO, one of the region’s largest independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIA), is pleased to announce the addition of Steven J. Kaczynski Jr., CFA, MST to its team of financial advisors. Steve has more than a decade of experience working as an advisor and portfolio manager for a large family office.
In addition to providing financial advice to DBR & CO’s private wealth clients, Steve works closely with Richard Applegate, Managing Director of DBR Fiduciary Plan Solutions, in continuing to service and expand DBR & CO’s qualified retirement plan advisory business. “We have set extremely high standards for our corporate retirement plan business, and having Steve join our team not only meets those standards, but also offers additional expertise in critical disciplines for our clients,” said Applegate.
Steve acquired substantial experience as a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Pine Road Asset Management where he developed investment research, structured portfolios, and risk management. He also served as an advisor in the development and implementation of family wealth planning issues, including tax analysis, selection of both private and public investments, and the management of closely held business operations.

In addition to his CFA designation, Steve holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Robert Morris University, and a Master of Science in Taxation (MST), with Certificates in both Estate Taxation and Business Taxation. Steve has also passed all four sections of the uniform CPA exam.
